8 scholarships offered at the Clown and Comedy School!

Are you looking for
a complete clowning course?
The Clown and Comedy School will offer 8 scholarships of $2000 to 8 artists who wish to register for the full-time program in 2025 (applicable to the price of $3500)*!
In addition to this opportunity, these same 8 artists will benefit from paid professional contracts in a therapeutic environment as well as in a performance environment with the FAR Festival,
in 2025, because the school wishes to support the career development of 8 deserving artists.
What is the full-time program?
It's a 5-month training course, which will allow students from the Clown and Comedy School to train professionally in physical acting and creation methods
in the clown world, while acquiring professional experience, all of a value of more than $5,335.

- • Clown 3: Canvas and Rhythm Work*
- • Clown 4: Creation Method*
- • Number Creation Laboratory with Jean Saucier
- • Neutral Mask with Johanne Benoit
- • Mime & Physical Theater with René Bazinet
- • Therapeutic Clown with Jean Saucier
- • Laboratory Show with Jean Saucier
Students will also be able to take the following optional workshops at no additional cost (up to a total of 120 hours):
- • Commedia dell'arte with Ivano Conte
- • Bouffons with Dolorèze Léonard
- • Slapstick with James Keylon
- • Impro Clown 1 with Évelyne Laniel
- • Impro Clown 2 with Évelyne Laniel
- • Clear Play, Unleashed Fun avec Pedro Fabião (dates to be determined)
Scholarships Registration Process

December 1st, 2024
*A zoom interview could be organized for students outside of Montreal.
Students will receive their answers on December 6th, 2024.
Following their acceptance, students will have until
December 9th 2024 to formalize their registration with a deposit of $500 which will guarantee them access to the scholarship and the employment contract for the full-time program.
Students will need to pay the remaining balance of tuition fees of $1,000, by February 6, 2025.
