The Clown and Comedy School has been at the core of Montreal’s clown, theatre and circus community, since
its’ formation in 2002. The school offers workshops in the art of clown, bouffon, physical theatre, mask,
mime technique, slapstick and physical comedy as well as private coaching and directing services. In 2021,
Jean Saucier began reviving the school after Francine Côté closed the school in 2018 to pursue her directing
career. This year, Francine is coaching Jean Saucier in clowning according to the Francine Côté Method.
