The aim is to introduce the fixed types of the Commedia dell'arte, their physicality, their movements, the use of the mask and, through the use of improvisations, their relationships on stage. Through work on the Commedia dell'arte we will rediscover the basics of theatre: i.e. combining movement, voice and listening on stage (both to one's scene partner and to the audience). The workshop is given by our guest teacher, Ivano Conte, who is from and lives in Italy.
